These are excerpts from Death of an Asian Man, my essay in which I made the stance that the Board of Education was not doing enough for the students of America. As far as teaching about marginalised groups went, the material being taught is scarce, especially when homing in on Asian Americans in particular. Students need to realise the good and the bad things that have happened to Asian Americans and while there may not be enough time, this can still be accomplished.
