For this assignment, we had to tell a story about a point in our lives where we first gained literacy. A lot of people, including myself, were confused about what this meant. But to summarise it, gaining literacy is learning how to write or read. We were taught these skills and we also had to write about how we improved on those skills. My revisions stemmed from the literary techniques I used such as imagery and refining the language to make it sound more concise.
