We were tasked with debunking a “single story.” The idea of the single story is that it is an incomplete narrative about a certain culture or group of people. We chose a topic based on this and we also had to write an argumentative essay and make a PowerPoint, summarizing the key points of our essay. Revisions mainly came from the chronology of my essay and tweaking it so that the essay made more sense. Coming later would be grammar fixes and other minor things like that. There were also general issues with my argument that I hadn’t noticed until they were pointed out to me in this assignment. I had problems with not addressing my arguments fully and I need to flesh out certain points I make throughout the essay
